Designing a voice transcription demo page

A demo page shows a voice transcription workflow before anyone commits. This guide walks through choosing the sample, shaping the output and setting a review step so visitors judge the idea quickly.

Step one: pick a sample that proves something — EqivoxListen · create · share

Step one: pick a sample that proves something

Choose one short recording that reflects a real use, such as a two-minute team check-in with two speakers and a little background noise. Avoid a flawless studio clip, because visitors learn nothing from perfect audio. Worked example: a recorded planning call where one person assigns a task, another asks a question and a date is mentioned. That single clip lets the page show speaker separation, action items and dates. Keep the recording clearly labeled as a sample, secure permission from everyone heard, and let visitors play the audio beside the text.

Step two: show the transcript in useful layers — EqivoxA useful path from inputto understanding

02

Step two: show the transcript in useful layers

Present the result in layers rather than a wall of text. The first layer is the raw transcript with speaker labels and timestamps. The second is a short summary of decisions. The third is a task list drawn from the call, such as who will send the revised schedule and by when. In the worked example, the date mentioned on the call appears as a highlighted deadline linked back to its timestamp. This lets a visitor click from any conclusion to the original words, which builds trust and shows exactly what the workflow produces.

Step three: build in human review and correction — EqivoxA useful path from inputto understanding

03

Step three: build in human review and correction

Transcription is never perfect, so the demo should show how a person checks it. Add an edit mode where a reviewer can fix a misheard name, confirm a deadline and approve the summary before sharing. In the worked example, the reviewer corrects a surname, accepts the deadline and marks the task list ready. Display what changed so the correction is visible. Finally, state plainly what happens to the recording afterward, including storage and deletion choices. A page that explains review and privacy simply will persuade careful buyers more than bold accuracy claims.
